This Abbey Ale proves why Abbey’s are renowned for top quality. On the poor you get a nice seasoned and nutty aroma with a chestnut color. The taste of this fine Ale supersedes the aroma (which is already amazing)! It has a full body with a flavor of roasted nuts and a lingering palate that drives you to sip after sip! Perfect for a nice cold winter day!

Aromat intensywny owocowy, głownie rodzynki, ciemne winogrona i trochę ziół. W smaku także owocowe, lekko kwaskowe i ziołowe.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 Purchased from Byson in Brighton, UK. A bit foamy and smooth. Hazy. Gold and brown. Highly fermented and good flavors. There is some bitterness and plenty of sweetness.

FireGlider (706) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 28, 2017
Muddy brown color with floating yeast particles and huge brownish head. Dark fruits and some malt aroma. Sweet fruity taste with light bitter malty aftertaste. OK, but nothing more.

DonGregorio (575) - POLAND - OCT 14, 2017
Bottle. Hazy light brown colour, small tan head. Aroma of red fruits, caramel, dark fruits, prunes, yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter and very light tart, of caramel, prunes, red fruits, dates, yeast, with red fruits in the finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Really good and quite complex dubbel.
