Bottle 33cl. Brown with a nice big foamy beige head. Malty nose with hints of some spices. Rich flavour where some sweet malt is present and, I guess, star anis. Not too sweet, subtle hopped. Medium length. Quite a pleasant beer, but it’s in my opinion not a porter. Too thin for that, but what I said, still a nice beer. mR_fr0g (12957) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2014
Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014 Moncada Brewery. Reddy / caramel coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is earthy grains, slightly musty, light berry fruits. and nutty caramel malts. Flavour is nutty and caramel base malts with a musty and light tartness. Bit of an infection maybe? Bit of lingering raspberry zacgillbanks (5362) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2014
Bottle from Glug, Newcastle. This very dark brown beer pours with no head and has ruby red highlights. It has a rich red fruit, chocolate and liquorice flavour followed by a very slight roasted and liquorice finish. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 13, 2014

Deep ambery brown colour, small head. Aroma is smoked notes, some wooden, earthy and fruity notes to it. Flavou ri ssmoked wet wood, earth, some floral notes, mild ashes as well as some slight roasted and chocolaty notes. Balanced, and would suit a traditional Xmas food table really well.
330 ml bottle at home. Poured into a chalice. Deepest brown with a dissipating tan head. Burnt toast and dried fruit aroma. Similar portery flavours, but I got jarring notes of fish and mint, as did my son. Odd, very odd.

RBESG pt 18. Moncada. Grand Tasting. Clear brown beer, small tan head. Palate is light, dry and crispy. Mild dark malts streaked with apple. Touch of something bitter. Light dry finish. A bit rubbish to be frank.
