0.33 l bottle from Alko. Dark amber colour, OK head. Taste resembles even more dark lagers, dark roasted malts. Quite nice.

Bottled 330ml. Alko. Deep clear amber color, good beige head. Aroma has chocolaty caramel, maltyness and spicey hops. Medium-bodied. Caramel, spicey hops, salty malty backbone. Lingerin salty hoppyness in the aftertaste. Tasty Oktoberfestbier!

Erasmus_ro (3130) - Alabama, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Bottle. Pours a rich, deep amber with a decent, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is stiff, somewhat fruity, a bit citrus and caramel. Liquorice-like combo of grape and caramel. Taste is quite a bit of caramel, some breadiness, a bit ashy, dry. Grapefruit and caramel are strong. Strong carbonation, refreshing, fairly full. Good.

Somewhat transparent chestnut color with a frothy, creamy head. Aroma is surprisingly nice with lots of malt, toffee fudge. Toffee and malt follow in the taste with some orange-like sweetness. The palate is unfortunately a bit watery, and carbonation is basically flat and the finish is short. Bu I forgive, an Oktoberfester has to be an easily swallowed thirst quencher!

johanjacobsson (17) - SWEDEN - OCT 31, 2013
Unremarkable aroma. Pours a beautiful amber color. Some very interesting flavors - some orange-y, some dark bread-y. Better than the Dahlgren Oktoberfest.

Migmar (255) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 27, 2013
Amber brown. Citrus, caramel, herbs and bread. Dry, medium bitterness. Surprisingly hoppy for its style, akin to a British bitter more than a German märzen. Nice one nonetheless.

Äntligen fick oktober månad en mening. Den som sedan länge varit så intetsägande att man till och från glömt bort att den finns. Jag vet att det är mycket begärt men nu väntar vi på en anledning att komma ihåg januari och februari också.

Copperish body, Aroma has sweet malt, resiny hops and some fruitiness. Flavour is very grainy malty and some green hoppiness. nicely balanced though.
