mzaar (3643) - Varberg, SWEDEN - OCT 8, 2013
Mörkbrun vätska med litet lätt smutsvitt skum. Dofter och smaker av kavring, röda bär, citrus och rostade nötter. Mjuk beska, lätt sötma.

Senap (747) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 6, 2013
Nja, det här var väl inte så mycket att tala om. Känns som ett försök att kränga på oktoberfesttraditionen. Oinspirerat. Pass i fortsättningen.

3.5
Marstonlad (955) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 5, 2013
Pours reddish copper with a little white head. Aroma has a clear hoppy presence, grassiness is at the forefront and is accompanied by some grainy and bready notes, quite interesting actually. Taste is fairly hoppy for this style. Fruitiness balances maltiness but leaves the malty flavours to the background. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel. A good Swedish take on this style, even if hoppiness might be a bit stronger than usually for this style.

3.2
laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 4, 2013
33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 28.04.2014
Aroma is hoppy and malty with some toffee, resiny and grain tones. Flavour has toffee, somewhat strong malty notes with grain, nuts and grassy hops blending with metallic savors.

3.4
lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 27, 2013
330 ml bottle.
Pours a dark brown colour with a small white head. Aroma of toasted malts, bread, grass and herbal notes. Flavour is surprisingly heavy with toasted malts, strong grassy bitterness, herbal notes and subtle sweetness. Medium bodied, heavy mouthfeel and a roasty, bitter, grassy finish. Very uncommon beer for an Oktoberfest beer.

3.6

Unde (1152) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 21, 2013
Brown and red looks with delicate head. Caramel malts with hints of roasted flavors. Pretty big mouth feel, some roasted malts and lots of caramel, ending with smallish hop flavors. Pretty good oktoberfest bier!

3.4
Zarkam (539) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 20, 2013
Bottle from Alko Kannelmäki. Clear brown to amber colour, medium cream head, sprucey aroma on the nose. Spicy aroma of caramel and fruit with some notes of chocolate. Long piney/herbal bitter aftertaste, full body, medium carbonation. Not the most conventional oktoberfest beer, but quite tasty and interesting.
