An innovative and fresh session ale in the American style, brewed with the modern hop variety Citra. Pale Ale is a shining amber example of Jessica Heidrichs signature "Love and Hops" - easy to drink and rich with plenty of hop aromas and character. Aroma and taste - Large aroma and citrusy scent from the Citra hops with hints of elderflower, gooseberry and rhubarb reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc wine. Well-balanced and complex taste with distinct citrus floral bitterness. Long, fresh and aromatic bitter finish. Ingredients: Pale ale malt and Citra hops

Litet skum p en ljusorange l. Doftar persika, ananas, citrus och blomster. Mycket bra. Beskan trivs vl ihop med stman, men dr finns ocks en viss tunnhet i smaken som gr att len inte riktigt lyfter. Fruktigheten dominerar.

Beer has nice color and smell. Taste starts strong but is missing something. Finish is a strong hop and has a lingering bitterness.

Really good beer. Wonderful fragrance. Tastes wonderful too but unfortunately a bit weak. The aftertaste is also good but can not keep still for too long. This beer I would buy again. Would that every one double IPA it would get the highest score.

(Draught at Jrnet, 20120626) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, dense and white. Aroma had fruitiness and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, citricness, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, bitter and harsh. Quite mild for an APA but clean. Also the presence of grain in both the taste and the aroma was bit unpleasant.

Dark blond colour, no lasting head. Flavour is quite bitter but has some fruity undertones (melon?). Long, bitter finish.

330ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Nice citrus hop aroma, a touch biscuity in the sweetness. Pale, hint of haze, small loose head. Taste very predictable from the aroma and alcohol percentage. Some doughy and sweet nutty retronasals, some freezer ice too. Simple bready palate, quite grainy, almost nutty, pine nuts too, and with a clear grapefruity hop bitterness. Pine nuts and and aromatic breadiness in the finish. Some milkiness from the light grains, and a nice resiny bitter bite, with a little tingle too, in the late finish. Simple, but full of flavour and enormously drinkable. Deserves a 500ml bottle, not a 330.
