An innovative and fresh session ale in the American style, brewed with the modern hop variety Citra. Pale Ale is a shining amber example of Jessica Heidrich’s signature "Love and Hops" - easy to drink and rich with plenty of hop aromas and character. Aroma and taste - Large aroma and citrusy scent from the Citra hops with hints of elderflower, gooseberry and rhubarb reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc wine. Well-balanced and complex taste with distinct citrus floral bitterness. Long, fresh and aromatic bitter finish. Ingredients: Pale ale malt and Citra hops

330 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy yellow colour with a small foamy white head. Aroma of citrusy American hops, hay and some grains. Flavour of pale malts, strong American hops, citrus and some sweet caramel. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a crispy, bitter, dry finish. Nice for a 4.5% abv APA.

Pours golden, clear. Small head. Grassy, haylike aroma. Also grassy taste, moderate bitterness. Thin body. Alright but not more.

slakemythirst (200) - - FEB 13, 2012
Brygden doftar kattpiss (usch), bröd och citrus. Smakrik men spretig. Ingen harmoni. Lite väl maffig beska. Citra humlen är missbrukad, tyvärr.

(Bottle) Golden colour with huge, frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with apricots, orange, honey and fresh floral/citric hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of apricots, citrus, orange, honey, biscuity malt and fresh floral hops in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Rather light body, quite dry. Refreshing and tasty. Nice one.

330 ml bottle gifted by friend and consumed on January 27. Pours clear golden with a small white head that quickly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, butterscotch, grapefruit and orange zest. Taste is malty, slightly sweet and slightly bitter with caramel, orange zest and some pine. Finish is bitter with pine.

kingstoni (2194) - FINLAND - JAN 21, 2012
Bottle. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Hoppy citrus aroma with a farmhouse feel (like a fertilizer). A little bitter taste. Quite unusual entity.

AlbertC (277) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 19, 2012
Can’t decide wether it’s nice or horrible; but the aroma is very barninsh, countryside. It might be the fuggles and EKG... what? Citra? No way! Anyhow, it is nice for a brittish IPA possibly. I’m confused.

Mezcalmannen (514) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 17, 2012
An unclear yellow colour and off-white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus fruits, same goes for the bitter taste, medium body. (Bottle)

liinis (1771) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 23, 2011
Pale yellow with a white head. Nice pale ale with nice citrusy hops. no surprises no disappointments.
