Smak och doft av humle, malt, choklad, vanilj med brända toner. Lättsam porter med konstgjorda smaker. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 1, 2012
The colour is black. It smells intensiv chocolate, sugar. The taste is bittersweet, chocolate, bitter, coffee. Difficult but ok! 11/9/7/8/13/8 stefannilssons (1580) - SWEDEN - DEC 23, 2011
Dark brown with a thick, tan head. Acidic with chocolate notes. Chocolate, vanilla, acidic and hops. Medium body with a short sour / bitter finish. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 14, 2011
Dark red colored with black hints, little dark brown head. Strongly roasted aroma with sweetness, cocoa and thin vanilla. Thin to medium bodied. watery palate. Flavor is much thinner with roastiness dominating, some harsh biting glue, heavily burnt taste. Not too good flavor.

Clear, deep brown with a creamy, light brown film. Good lacing. Cocoa, vanilla on the nose invites to a good sip. Sweet, roasted, light bitter and light acidic with notes of vanilla. Smooth. Medium body. Dry finish. esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - APR 23, 2011
Dark ruby, almost black color. Creamy head. Intese vanilla nose, some bready malts and light roastedenss. Starts quite sweet, slightly syrupy but evolves to drier and somewhat sour-roasted and bitterish towards the end. Some fruity yeast notes and dark fuitiness, dark and bitterish chocolate flavor in the finish. Medium bodied, a bit fizzy texture. Ok, not very well balanced. Too much vanilla aroma, it messes more sublte malt flavors a bit. abstractbeer (242) - NORWAY - APR 6, 2011
Bottle from Systembolaget. Nice bottle, pours a quite black beer with a small light brown head. First of all, it smells strongly of chocolate, with a quite obvious vanilla aroma. Smells pretty delicious! In the mouth the flavor is fantastic, chocolate milk and vanilla totally dominates, with some hints of coffee. It starts out somewhat sweet and ends up with a bitterness which really goes well with all the chocolate and vanilla. However, the major disappointment with this beer is the mouthfeel, which is almost as thin as water. :( This really should have more body, I think. On the other hand, the light body makes it quite easy to drink! No need to sip it for ever and beyond. There’s very little carbonation, which seems appropriate and pleasant. The aftertaste is great, fittingly bitter and full of (surprise) chocolate and vanilla! All in all the aroma and flavor is really beautiful, almost heavenly! I don’t think I’ve ever tasted so much chocolate in a beer, and it complements the vanilla really well. I could only wish for a fuller body, and perhaps a tiny bit more sweetness. However, as it stands now, it’s a very drinkable porter with a very good flavor & aroma.Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 30, 2011
This beer is like a really beautiful girl with a boyish body. I really like it, but wouldn’t say no to some meat on the bones, whether we’re talking about beer, girls or food!
I also like the brewery’s motto, as printed on the cap: "Love & Hops"! You can’t argue against that, can you? ;)
courtesy of Per - black coloured with a rubish hue; solid beige foam on top of it; dusty and roasted aroma with notes of almonds, cream and chocolate; highly carbonated and with a moderate malt body, very tart and corny with some harsh bitterness; dry aftertaste of mint and ashes - weird and hard to drink
