Deep amber colour with a mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is huge smoky wet wooden notes along with some sweet and bready malts, mild grainyness as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is bigtime smoked wet wooden along with bready malts and some slight freshly cut wood. Having Schlenkerla Märzen next to this one, and both were kind of as "smoked", but this was a softer smoke, where as the Schenkerla is a really thick tarry smoke. This still kicks serious ass, and I actually liked the smokyness in this one quite a bunch.
Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Hasa fruity malty smoky aroma. Fruity malty smoky flavor with weak hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty very smoky finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Heavy iodine and manure in the nose. Medium body, sweet caramel and heavy, greasy smoke. Smoke all over - and nothing much more than smoke. 131011 omhper (24969) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 10, 2011
Bottled. Clear nut brown, mid sized head. Smoky nose with juniper and beechwood. Malt sweetness combine with peat to a whisky liqueur flavour. Medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. The juniper smoke brings a Gotlandsdricke flavour, but where Gotlandsdricke is soft and rustic this is clean and elegant. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 30, 2012
Dark amber color; the medium sized head reduces quickly to a small layer. Very nice, subtle, smoke aroma. The mouthfeel is quite dry, there is good caramel flavor and good smoke, with correct bitterness.rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 22, 2011
A very fine beer, it has strong smoke presence, and great balance; not heavy as the Schlenkerla ones, but it also goes well with food.
Bottle. Deep golden color with a decent offwhite head. Smoked aroma, malty, sweetish, maybe some fruity notes. Malty flavor, some smoke, ash notes, a bit burnt, sweetish. TBone (17440) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 7, 2012
