Bottled. Clear mahogany colour, mid-sized head. Perfumy hops in the nose together with salt and minerally ash. Sweetish malt, dried out by a wealth of salty resiny hops, forms a mid sized body with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some pleasant chocolate and grains is found undeneath, but resin grows further in the immensely bitter finish, pushing it off balance. Jonte (1413) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - AUG 25, 2011
Bottle. Dark reddish/mahogany colour with a beige head.
Aroma: caramel, toffee, bread, nuts, dried fruit.
Flavor: caramel, toffee, grass, dried fruit, grapefruit, lightly roasted malt, tea-like tannins. Not very sweet, but still rather malty. Bitter and a bit too harsh finish. ekstedt (6881) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 22, 2011
Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear mahogny, large fluffy tan head. Nutty, fudgy, and slightly caramelly aroma with citric and piney hops. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Surprisingly dry with medium to high bitterness. Very nice. Hermod (8062) - Vantaa, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2011

Bottle 33 cl. A darkred colour with a beige head. Good lacing. An aroma of malt, bread, roasted notes and spice. The taste is dry and bitter. A medium body, oily texture, average carbonation and a long finish.

13.08.2011. 0,33l Bottle. Systembolaget Strömstad. Dark brown to black beer with off-white head. Aroma dominated by hops. Medium bodied beer with good flavours of aromatic and bitter hops. Rather strong bitter aftertaste that leaves a dry bitter mouthfeel

Bottle from Systembolaget, pours dark red/amber with a good head. A pleasant, slightly sweet malty aroma, but surprisingly hoppy taste. Not too much carbonation, which is good. All in all a very good dark lager. No doubt one of my favourites from St. Eriks. AlbertC (277) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 15, 2011
Aroma is big malt hop and hay. Taste is toffee, hay malt and cascade hops(?). Mad_Ferret (1019) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 13, 2011
Clear dark mahogany/deep red with a big beige head that leave some spread lacings.
Aroma is sweet malty with toffee, some fudge, nutty, syrup bread, orangepeel and grassy hops.
Taste is relatively sweet with caramel and a hint of chocolate but a pretty high piney, herby and slight perfumy bitterness push the sweetness down. For a while it feels more like a hop pumped english bitter more than a vienna.
Body is medium with soft tickeling carbonation. I think Jessica is getting a bit more stabile, but the bitterness is still kind of harsh. gyllenbock (9315) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2011
Dark copper with a medium fluffy head. Descent but nothing sensational. Grass, some light toasted notes, fruit and nuts.
