3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Systembolaget, pours dark red/amber with a good head. A pleasant, slightly sweet malty aroma, but surprisingly hoppy taste. Not too much carbonation, which is good. All in all a very good dark lager. No doubt one of my favourites from St. Eriks.
Really nice taste and aroma, this is a good thing to drink. [short review due to it coming from my backlog] Svesse (8595) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2012
(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with lasting, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, slightly fruity nose with dark bread, caramel, treacle toffee, orange peel and a touch of chocolate. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dried apricots, bitter orange, toffee, rye bread and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty and quite nice. courtesy of Per - quite clear ruby-brown beer under a solid creamy beige foam; perfumy nose and with a solid hoppiness showing notes of licorice, red fruits and flowers; medium-bodied, gently sticky and astringent; very bitter fruity and resiny finish; quite dry liinis (1770) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 24, 2012

Flaske 0,33l fra Systembolaget i Gällivarre. Delt med Rune under sammenkomst i Skibotn 17 Sep 11. Mørk amber. Høyt kremskum. God “IPA”-aroma: Appelsin & sitrus. Smaken fruktig med dominans av sitrus. Plommer. Markert syrlig bitter ettersmak. Et godt øl. Forfriskende.
