St. Etienne Biere d’Abbaye - Biere de Tradition

WHAT IT’S LIKE: the same colour as a fox fur, it has a very thin, compact and persistant froth. The perfume is characterized by warm caramel notes. Thanks to the (...) citrus fruit and crystallized fruit it shows an important flowery intensity. (...) tasty and satisfying, it has a clean and fresh end. In the aftertaste presents .. cherry aromas and clear pear notes. ON THE TABLE: Superb accompaniment .. lasagne and with pasta with meat sauces sauces from our region. Among the main (...) stews and roast meats with grilled vegetables. Perfect with ... blueberry or berry jams and with nuts.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2017 NOME: St. Etienne PRODUTTORE: Interbrau COLORE: Rame STILE: Belgian Strong Ale VOL: 6,3% Vecchia conoscenza ma veste nuova per questa strong ale , ci colpisce subito sullo scaffale l'inedita etichetta semi trasparente recante il disegno di vetrate color lavanda, come a voler richiamare le atmosfere dell'abazzia di origine. Tornando a ciò che conta veramente (il contenuto) , ritroviamo con piacere una limpida birra color rame, incorniciata da una schiuma densa, compatta e abbondante, dall'aspetto decisamente albuminico. Al naso risulta fortemente luppolata, ben evidenti le note alcoliche mitigate da sentori di caramello e frutta candita. Il gusto è pieno e deciso, denota una gradazione alcolica decisamente più alta della dichiarata, sapori ben bilanciati, inizialmente dolci e caramellati, per poi sfociare in un finale amarognolo, erbaceo e persistente.
