Pours a very slightly hazed golden blonde color with a large, long lasting, loosely formed white head. Constant streams of bubbles whirling throughout the brew. Aroma is Belgian spicy, white peppercorn, hint of coriander, and a grassy note. Flavors come together really well in this brew, unlike many Belgian IPA style beers. Might be the low co-humolone (sp?) of the Amarillo, who knows? Who cares, this tastes good! Flavor is up front honey accented malts, peppery spice middle, and a citrus hop finish reminiscent of warm pineapple. Note of hay as well. Refreshing for such a strong beer, the ABV is quite hidden. Great stuff! GRM (4049) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 30, 2010

75cl bottle. Haxy blond with a big, frothy white head. Very floral coriander on the nose. some clove, and some orange from the hops. Starts sweet in the flavor and gets quite spicy and hoppy and well with a pronounced pepper component. Medium-full body with ample carbonation. Pretty spicy stuff. They definitely weren’t going for restraint here. Pretty cool I guess, but I might have to get used to the brash approach. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - OCT 24, 2010
750 ml bottle. Pours bright yellow and hazy. Nose is lemony, yeasty, citrusy, light hoppy. Taste is very fluffy, lemon/citrus, light hop, with the alcohol noticeable but not overpowering. Very effervescent and carbonated. Easy to drink. Delicious. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 21, 2010
Sampled from a 750 corked brown bottle this beer poured a very cloudy yellow-golden color with a huge foamy white head that lingered and produced incredible lacing. The aroma was tart citrus, bread, sugar and candied fruits. The flavor was tart and sour with notes of lemon, orange, pineapple, table sugar, bread, Sweettart candies and faint vague herbs. The finish was long and tart with lemon, pineapple, sugar and spice lingering. Moderately full bodied. The alcohol was well hidden. Excellent.

Not so much aroma. Tons of head. This is a great super-spicy trippel. The mouth is tingling from stop to finish. A bit of alcohol comes out at the end. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2010
(750ml bottle, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a hazy straw body with a tall white head. Aroma of banana, citrus, florals, pepper, herbs, and florals. Flavor of banana, herbs, Belgian yeast, citrus, and grass with a dry finish. bluejacket74 (1992) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - OCT 8, 2010
750 ml caged/banded and corked bottle, cork says Lot 2699, bottle says 22/04/12. Served in a tulip glass, the beer pours a cloudy light gold color with a couple inch frothy white head. Head retention was excellent, with a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like lemon peel, green apples, Belgian yeast and peppery spice. Taste is bready malt, grassy hops, lemon peel and peppery spice along with some clove and apricots. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick and has high but soft carbonation. Drinkability is very good, it’s nice and smooth. Also, the 9.5% ABV is well hidden as it’s not really noticable in the aroma or taste. I thought it was a good brew, I liked it. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 7, 2010
Bottle. Loud crack of the cork but no foamage. Long lasting big white head on highly carbonated gold. Lively clean spicy hop nose. Not extreme but smooth golden drink with some dandelion, strong hops and a bit of creamy butter. Alcohol is low key but you can feel the warmth in your body. Pours a straw yellow slightly hazed with an overactive ice cream cone white head consisting of ever growing CO2 bubbles. Aroma is spicy hops, wheat, esthers, coriander, grapefruit peel, belgian yeasts, grass. Up front flavor is prickly, grassy, and spicy with the carbonation bringing out the nuances of the beer. Belgian yeasts, bananas, grass, spices, wheat, hops, many saison like qualities, etc but with zesty spicy american amarillo hops than you’d never find in a saison. Interesting brew.
