COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

Pours a clear gold color with a nice white head. Aroma of malts, hops, grains, straw, hints of honey and spices. Flavors of malts, yeast, grains, citrus cruits, straw, hops, and spices. Good carbonation, some sweetness and bitterness, light creamy. Some nice balance of flavors.

Bottle at home, popped with a bang but no gusher. Clear deep golden pour, thick very creamy white head. Aroma of Belgian hops, spices, some heavy malts and peppery. Flavor is slightly malty sweet, quite spicy and with a bitter slightly hoppy finish. Very lively carbonation, creamy texture. Very nice.

0,33 l bottle. Straw yellow, nice fizzy white head. Nose has some sourness, nice beefy "something", don’t know how to describe. Candy maybe, cookies? Clove and herbs, even green grapes. Flavor on the otherhand falls short with much alcohol, acidity and yeastiness. After beautiful and complex tripel, this one falls flat. This is more of a refresher than a treat, but way too strong in alcohol for that purpose. Not my genre.

330 ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, thin white head. Very nice, spicy, hoppy and citrus-fruity aroma. The flavour is sweetish, malty, citrus fruity, spicy, with a mildly bitter hoppy finish and perhaps a little too strong presence of alcohol. Nice, but not mind-blowing.

JanEric (1241) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 15, 2010
Golden blonde, big head, lots of carbonation. Aroma is barley, yeast, hops. Bitter taste, fresh, somewhat alcoholic. For a blonde one relativily heavy, that’s a pity, furthermore OK. Good lacing, somewhat bitter and some dryness in the finish.
