COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

330ml bottle (Poirotti, Helsinki)
Dry dusty aroma, but quite big. Lovely soft malty body - light pale grains. Lovely sweet retronasal vapours - light malt, and stealth hops. Some hoppy stickiness - raw but very subtle. Very easy to underrate as it’s a subtle beer, but with lots of interesting delicate details.

Pyobon (1403) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 4, 2008
Bottle. Cloudy yellow with lots of white head. Subtle aroma, some what fruity with spicey notes. Medium body with lots of carbonation. Initial tangy taste moves through bananas to a spicey and bitter finish. Excellent.

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a medium sized, fizzy and collapsing white head. The aroma is malty with some notes of orange peel and coriander. Some grassy hoppiness. The flavour is malty too and begins with a medium sweetness, followed by a herbal bitterness. Again quite spicy and fruity (lemon, orange, hint of tropical fruits). Light to medium body, lively carbonation, dry medium finish with light to medium bitterness. maybe the body is on the thin side but this is a nice beer.

From bottle. Depp golden color with a generous head and lace. Aromas include perfumy hops and spices. Good mouthfeel and body with malt and orange flavors. Dry finish to a decent Belgian brew.

Borresteijn (7172) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2008
Bottle @ de Zotte. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, alcohol, spice. Flavour is spicy, sweet and fruity, alcoholsweet. Too sweet and spicy for me.

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 26, 2008
750 ml corked bottle. Huge frothy beige head leaving excellent lacework. Hazed, greyish golden, well carbonated body. Very dry and fresh acidulous fruity aroma. Crisp wheaty taste, nicely balaced with a fine bitterness, an orangey fruitiness and some mild spices. Healthy body. Dry, gently bitter and peppery finish. A very refreshing Blonde.

75cl bottle. golden with big white head. very acidic and too fizzy/bubbly, better leave it settle a bit. alcohol also pushes strong through.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an unclear golden / yellow colour with long lasting head. Aroma is fruit and spice, coriander. Flavor is again fruit (citrus) and a little spice. Hops kick in as well.
