COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden colour with large bubbly white head. Aroma is interesting; malt and hops and floral and a sort of nice medicinal pineyness. Taste is spicey, dry, bitter, sweet, malty, hoppy, sourish at the end, with a lovely mouthfeel. Full bodied, crisp and refreshing with well hidden alcohol. Very impresive blonde.

33cl bottle purchased from Dan Murphy’s liquor stores. Trappist glass. Appears clear light golden with a large white head that reduces to a stable lacing collar. Pleasant inviting perfumy nose of nectarine, peaches, melon, lychee and bready malts. Flavour is typical of a superior Belgian Blonde ie. not too sweet with a nice dry finish and some earthy yeasty elements. Palate is robust and medium-full bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Rather enjoyed this one.

This is a very good beer. They got the balance just right between bitterness and a slight sweetness. Citrus wheaty aromas. Full flavor. A little nutty even. Like it.

Pours Hazy golden. Big head with medium persistence. Aromas are fruity, mostly orange, lemon. Nice balance between malt and yeast. Bitterness is pleasant, a little bit higher than average. Carbonation is fairly strong. Overall very good Belgian Ale.
