COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

Bottle 33 cl @ Karhisma Birroteca (Piedimonte Matese, Caserta - Italy). When people without a specific cognition of craft beer ask me to serve them a "sweet blonde", it’s ever not so easy. How much sweet a beer for a young palate should be? Well, I think that St. Feuillen Blonde resolve much kinda problem. Probably not outstanding, not extraordinary, and surely many belgian blondes are better, but hey... to be unpretentious, and head people to other beers, this achieve the "searchin’ sweetness" goal. Color is perfectly clear, blonde/orange with just a finger for head; aroma is full of pear, candy fruit, candy sugar, spices, apricot and grapes. Alcohol is very well hidden, and carbonation is medium to high. Have a sip, and prepare yourself to make your palate overwhelmed by spices, sugar, star fruit, candy fruit again, orange, floral, jelly, in particular those who fizzle tongue long and long. Finish is moderately bitter, halfway between lemon and bloody orange. I repeat: common, maybe boring, but many people are just in search of that.

0,75 l. bottle from SuperBest supermarket in to a trappist glass. Hazy, dark golden colour with a big, white head, that leaves a lot of lace work behind. Fruity aroma with floral hops, citrus, spices and bread. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a lively carbonation and a slick feel. Long lasting fruity and yeasty finish. A lighter interpretation of this style and I liked it!

Note: 7/10

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow gold with typical belgo head and lace, off white in colour. Aromas of citrus, herbs, grass, earthy, dough, bread and chalk. Medium-light, spritzy body, carbonation bite soft, but lively - pleasant malt character over the top of a nice light noble flavour and bitterness and a leading spciy clove, abbaye yeast character defining the beer through the finish. An unpleasant hot or solvent character through the finish only faint.
