Metallic, melon nose for this clear, yellow-brown ale. Sharp, slightly malty, alcoholic taste, there is too much carbonation for this to be smooth. Has a creamy head and drying quality, and is rather crisp with hints of dark fruit. fraternie (1011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 20, 2002
Slightly spicy tripel-esque malt flavor followed by a metallic aftertaste. fomentateur (110) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 3, 2004
Blonde in color, nice belgian lace. Fruity, Estery, and earthy in aroma and flavor. Very traditional in style. Very drinkable at 7%. Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - MAY 10, 2004

a very nice blonde. Somewhat pilsner feel, quite yeasty with floral earthy tones with some bitterness. Aroma was bitter oranges and apples with an outhouse feel to it. Very very drinkable but lacks a bit of complexity and is quite straight forwardkook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - NOV 28, 2004

an avarage blonde. Easy drinking, yeasty, surprisingly hoppy and acid. Floral, yeasy aroma, nice big head but fainted quickly ... nice little beer but nothing mind blowing
Light clean malty aroma with slight yeastiness to it. Gold in colour with a white head. Sweet start, with citrus and yeasty mid/finish. Spicy. Medium bodied, Good. Fiilen (12) - Risskov, DENMARK - JAN 3, 2005

Cloudy golden colour. Peppery, slightly spicy flavour. Aniseed in aftertaste. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 1, 2005
(bottle, best before 05.08.2004) Hazy orange colour with big yeast floaties and small creamy white layer. Dusty and yeasty fruity (orange, peach) aroma with a touch of cloves. Light bitter flavour, medium body. Citrus fruity and slightly sweet malty taste with yeasts with a lemon fruity, light hop bitter and slightly alcoholic but warming finish. Quite rounded brew.
