dark brown coloured body with a small off white head a malty aroma a caramel taste and a light bitter finich sinte (570) - Udine, ITALY - JUL 20, 2007
Hazy, dark amber body with a large, creamy, light-brown head, mostly lasting with a good lacing.
Moderate malty aroma (caramel) with spicy and fruity (apple, cherry, raisin) notes.
Moderate sweet and acidic flavour with a light bitter character at the beginning; then the sweet note becomes less intense while the bitter character grows up.
Medium body with an oily texture; soft carbonation; light astringency; moderate alcoholic feeling in the finish.
Very satisfactory; complex.

Beautifully rubyish pour topped with creamy beige suds. Rooty liquorice, red apple and delicate strawberry hops in the nose. Overripe berries, juicy raisins, fudgily caramelised chocolate-coated malt and underpinning hop loveliness. Silky and harmonious.
