COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brown ale has a marked ruby brown colour with a generous and lasting head. It has a distinctive aroma reflecting the wide range of ingredients used in its production. The fruitiness resulting from its fermentation blends harmoniously with a dominant liquorice and caramel flavour. The body is decidedly malty. The bitterness is the result of a complex alchemy between the fine hops and special malts used. These give St Feuillien Brune a typical dark chocolate appearance.

Very nice beer. I tasted it last night in wonderful compagny, so if it looks like it didn't had my head with it, I can't say that i'm sorry... Sweet, great aroma. May be a little bit too cold, who cares?

From old tasting notes. Beautiful garnet colored liquid topped by a big rocky tan head. Soft, fruity, yeasty malt nose reminiscent of lemon peel and raisins. Wonderful warming brew has a crisp fruity malt flavor and a tasty complex hop finish. Delicious.

Bottle from Royal Standard, Cambridge. Reddish brown, a bit gushy with a heavy off-white head. Translucent. Hazelnut syrup, chocolate, light raspberry in the aroma. Sweet sugary taste with light hop bitterness in the background. Very heavy on the carbonation. Superb Dubbel.

PREZENTACJA: brązowe z czerwonymi prześwitami, obfita piana redukuje się do kożucha, nie oblepia szkła;
AROMAT: guma balonowa, banan, pomarańcza, cukier trzcinowy, mosiądz i żelazo, cola;
ODCZUCIE: ciało niskie , bardzo mocno nasycone, lekko wykleja podniebienie;
SMAK: palony cukier trzcinowy, cola, żelazo, mosiądz, silna bardzo kwaśna nuta, wyraźna kakaowa goryczka, czekoladowy posmak;
OGÓLNIE: piwo jest złożone i ciekawe, ale dla mnie przekreślają je potężna metaliczność, której wtóruje równie strasznie przegazowanie.

Bottle - Pours with a lasting white, but I could not make out any distinctive aroma. It is a Dark Belgian Ale, not great, not bad, just a silky smooth drink that goes down very easily. That's not to say it's a boring taste, but with just the single small bottle to taste, I could not isolate any particular flavours, but I'd certainly drink another one! Definitely no bitterness, and the alcohol is definitely noticeable in the taste, not a bad thing, more like a slight barrel aged touch ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska, Inferno Lund. Ljusbrun öl med ett beige, småbubbligt skum. Doft och smak av kryddig jästighet, fikon, malt och lättare rostade toner. Även lite lakrits i smaken.
