Pours a redish brown body with a large beige head. Aroma of sweets and dried fruits. Taste is rich of malty flavours but foremost raisins. Very nice and well balanced. caribou43 (1026) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - FEB 4, 2017
I bought this bottle at amstein and I drank it in family yesterday in Lausanne. In my opinion, it is a pleasant beer. The color is brown and orange, brown and white foam. The carbonation is average. The taste is sweet, malty, bready, good notes of apricot candy sugar, some hop. For a Christmas edition, there is maybe a lack of ginger bread, good one. BenL8 (211) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 27, 2017
Nice Belgian Christmas ale but slightly overrated. Aroma is very sweet and sugary. Taste is sweet and Belgian (candi sugar). Finish is very nice, sweet, bitter and loads of toffee. Average Belgian with a very nice finish. Jorn69 (3157) - Ängelholm, SWEDEN - JAN 27, 2017

Clear copper colour with nice fluffy head on top. Aroma has anise, herbal notes, grass. Taste has a lot of anise, herbal notes, not much else. Medium body and high carbonation. Very herbal and I don’t know where the Christmas is in here. Not my thing. drdisque (840) - Illinois, USA - JAN 8, 2017
On tap at Bangers and Lace. Outstanding super tasty belgian strong ale. Complex sweet well-balanced flavor. Light bodied. Absolutely no alcohol burn. This beer is superbly crafted. No off-putting flavors or aromas. I could seriously down like a gallon of this and then promptly die, it’s that good.
