COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

750 ml bottle. Deep reddish brown colour, thick off-white head. Sweetish, spicy malty aroma with dried fruit. The flavour is sweetish malty, with liquorice, aniseed, dried fruits and yeasty notes, and a spicy finish. Very tasty.

Bottle, 330 ml. Pours clear dark red with a substantial amount of soapy off-white head that settles down quickly. Moderate amount of visible carb, medium bubbles, thick lacing. Sweet, fruity, confectionery-esque aroma with lots of orange, brown sugar, rich caramel, some berries (though no tartness), hint of dark fruit and spices - bit of clove and coriander. Bit of a cakey undertone and slightly buttery. Taste is moderately sweet with fruit (orange, some lemon, slightly sharp), sugar and yeasty spice up front followed up by dark fruit and cakey, bready, moderately bitter malts for the finish, which is quite abrupt and dry. Lingering mild bitter aftertaste. Body is full, texture is thick and smooth, carbonation is moderate, leaving a bit of a tingle.

Fules (1372) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - DEC 2, 2016
Nagy, tartós hab, barna szín. Karamelles, medvecukros illat. Édeskés, karamelles ízek, enyhe medvecukros aromával. Testes, erősen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Szokatlan ízvilág az édesgyökértől, de meglepően kellemes.

Bottled, 33 cl. Opal reddish brown colour, bigger sized creamy beige head with average duration. Yeasty nose. Aroma brings caramel, citrusses, yeast, bread... taste is a combo of candies and tart fruits, mouthfeel is slick to syrupy. Warming finish with toast and citrus fruits. Enjoyable.

Delightful but a little short of brilliant for me. Pours a bubbly, fizzy dark burgundy with a light beige head that fizzles away shortly. Nice prune and raisin notes with a pinch of spice and light floral notes. Mild alcohol presence and a bit of lingering Belgian prune notes. Nice full body, moderate carb. Nice brew overall!

Fľaša, Brusel v Poechenelleklder. Hnedá farba, hnedá pena. Vôňa sladká, jemne pikantná. Chuť sladká, ostrá na jazyku, káva, kakao a čokoláda. Pre mňa príliš sladké a vodové zároveň.
