COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Appearance is really beautiful, the color of dark ruby with a big, rocky head. Aroma has strong dark fruitiness, sweet maltiness and spiciness; plum, pear, some caramel. Taste is medium to heavy sweet; maltiness and fruitiness are rich with Belgian yeast adding spicy elements. Hoppiness is mild to moderate, balancing a bit. Dried fruitiness and spices feature most. Spiciness is moderate, not over-the-top. Palate is medium to full bodied, quite smooth despite the carbonation being a bit lively. Nice sweet and attractive Christmas beer.

Pours dark brown with no head but good carbonation. Dull non descript fruit aroma. Bit of a yeasty plum apple flavor and medium bodied. Sweet finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Received as a gift set with two other St. Feuillien’s brewfrom a non beer geek friend. Thanks Dave! Poured from bottle. Color was basic murky brown with cream colored head. Aroma was of cinnamon and malts. Taste was carmalized pears. Lots of malt and a slightly bitter finish. Something was just slightly off on this one. Cant put my finger on it.

Vraiment agréable, douce, pas trop épicée ou écoeurante comme on peut souvent en trouver dans ce style. Nez léger, très porte sur le pain d’épices assez caramelisé. Équilibré, rond.

Brown-reddish colour, with huge head that leaves a good lace and crown. Smell of dark fruits, spices, nutmeg licorice, cinnamon and almonds. Medium body, good carbonation. Taste is similar to the smell: spices, licorice, almonds, dark fruits.
