COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Received as a gift set with two other St. Feuillien’s brewfrom a non beer geek friend. Thanks Dave! Poured from bottle. Color was basic murky brown with cream colored head. Aroma was of cinnamon and malts. Taste was carmalized pears. Lots of malt and a slightly bitter finish. Something was just slightly off on this one. Cant put my finger on it.

Red-brown-copper hue. Lots of caramell and cotton candy or merengue in the nose. Some tea. The taste is fruity and has that merengue taste. A hint of licorice toffee. Somewhat bitter finish. An ace season ale.

Bottle purchase at Beverages for Less in Santee. Dark brown pour, with a huge head that lasted a couple of minutes. Lots of maltiness on the nose, and toungue. Caramel, and spice for a nice finish.

Appearance is really beautiful, the color of dark ruby with a big, rocky head. Aroma has strong dark fruitiness, sweet maltiness and spiciness; plum, pear, some caramel. Taste is medium to heavy sweet; maltiness and fruitiness are rich with Belgian yeast adding spicy elements. Hoppiness is mild to moderate, balancing a bit. Dried fruitiness and spices feature most. Spiciness is moderate, not over-the-top. Palate is medium to full bodied, quite smooth despite the carbonation being a bit lively. Nice sweet and attractive Christmas beer.
