Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 03/06/2019 Looks great in the glass - holds a big rocky head atop a hazy bright straw body. Yeast-driven nose - pepper, clove, nutmeg, apple, sultana, apricot, with a measure of cereal & hay malt. Good weight, lively creamy carbonation, warming booze throughout dries out on the finish. Sweet maltiness upfront - cereals, sweet bread, hay moving onto peppery, woody spices, ripe stonefruits & pears, lingering spice on finish, touch of bitterness & booze. Yeah, nice!

Cerveza de moderada claridad y buen encaje. Buena presencia de lúpulos en nariz y notas afrutadas en boca. Intenso amargor.

Fruity. Noble hop presence. Peppery. Appearrance acc to style. Taste goes in the direction of of aroma. A bit of effervescence on a tongue. Really nice hoppy finish. There's a lot of bubbles coming to your tongue, so the start is just harsh, but in the end is what you really want from this kind of beer. I won't rate this beer as a perfect 20 just because of the possible better options that I haven't tasted yet. Just one of the best beers I've ever tasted. Good job, St. Feuillien

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is grass some banana some green stuff some dandelion. Taste is bitter noble hops with some spiky grassy accents. Like a good heller bock. Finish is very spicy and intensely grassy. Still a bit one dimensional. Alcohol well hidden. Good.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2017 Wrung this out into my stolen Duchesse glass. Massive bright white head from a very aggressive pour, light white gold drinkiny stuff. Dry crackers, creamy lemon, freshness, lightly spiced yeasty things with the what believe is a faint banana - doesn't seem right, coriander, slight earthiness for the aroma. My very first taste pushed a big alcohol wave on me. The second was not that bad, the third it morphs into more of a harshness from the bittering. Either way, alcohol can be found throughout. Lemon, orange peel, stiff lengthy spice, coriander, el yeasto, super quiet peach, dryness. Well carbonated, long attentive sharp bitter finish. Surprisingly filling and lightweight at the same time.

Aroma of apple, pepper, orange liqueur, licorice, oak and wheat. Cranberry, orange liqueur, cherry, pepper, yeast, lemon, bubble gum and hops. There's so much going on here. I was quite surprised. Somewhat boozy.

patricks110 (2794) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 4, 2017
Lovely beer overall. Pours a bright toasted orange colour with a puffy off white head that stays thick for a while. The nose is brightly hopped up with nice floral and citrus notes, lighter ester notes with a light fruity aroma. Mild mannered toasted malts, wheat and bready notes, light caramel and a touch of malty sweetness. Dry and bitter but not astringent. Mild alcohol presence with a light floral and leafy hop bitterness. Awesome estery brew.
