Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

330 mL bottle. Light blonde pour, tall creamy white head. Cereal grain aroma, light fruity hops. Medium to full body, high carbonation.

0,33L bottle (from Wine of Galilee, Tallinn). Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is fresh fruits, yeast, citrus, apples. Flavor is sweet, fresh fruits, malt, spices, yeast, citrus, and acidic notes. Finish is sweet, citric with some bitterness and touch of alcohol. Carbonation is rather high and it feels somewhat "dead". Overall: good brew.

It’s a lovely, sunny day, and there needs to be a nice beer in the mix. So time to crack that Grand Cru. Pours a slightly cloudy blond with active carbonation and a dense creamy head that it retains. The nose is soft hay malts, a mild yeasty bite and a little bubble gum. The taste has an awesome fullness of cereal and hay malts, a sweetness that has a hint of cotton candy, mild citrus and a solid earthy yeast that nobody does better than the Belgians. Perfect beer for a perfect day.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear light straw with a huge white head. Aromas are fruit, (banana?), pepper, spices. Tastes banana, clove, pepper, and a touch of alcohol. Fairly light body, spicy bite on the tongue and a slightly warm alcohol finish. Nice job masking the big 9.5% abv.

Zoetige geur en alcohol. Vaal gele kleur. Smaakt ook naar alcohol en beetje caramel/honing met brood ofzo. Prima bier. Sterk en zoetig. Niet heel fris.

Marduk (8622) - Reval, ESTONIA - APR 2, 2015
330ml bottle. Pale golden color. Medium size, thick white head, diminishes to tiny one. Fruity, herbal, malty, alcohol, faint metallic, very faint dead yeast in aroma. Fruity, dead yeast, malty, caramel, metallic hops, alcohol in taste. Metallic hops and light malts in aftertaste. Crisp mouthfeel. Light yet complex body. Nice one.
