COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgiums St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Crus delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Poured a very pretty hazy light amber with a lively head. Faint musky nose. In the mouth it is very soft and pleasing. Noe heat from the alcohol.

0,7 l bottle shared Appearance:light hazy golden body, with a 1 finger sized head, ok retention and its leaves some lacing. Aroma: Sugar, citrus, and a bit of yeast Taste: Typical Belgian Beer, A bbit of malts, some fruity tones provided by citrus and apricot tones and some spiceyness from the yeast but less dominating, the only thing is the finish is a bit rough, with the bitterness and the alcohol kicking to much in. medium-thick body, average carbonation With a name like this you expect a bit more, this is just another elgian Ale like so many others.

Cerveja belga sempre um plus, e essa o com certeza. Equilbrio timo entre o lpulo e o malte, com a complexidade esperada de uma belga.

Most Feuillien beers have the nice aspect that they have a dry bitterness, instead of the sweetness most Belgians have. This one has that as well, nice strong blond beer, with a dry fruity touch.

I dont remember many specifics on this one, but it was a very well-made Belgian strong. Didnt seem very unique to me at the time, but it was very enjoyable nonetheless. I think Ill pick up another one to see if it was really as hoppy as the description suggests.

Bottle from cotteridge wines. Golden beer with medium head. Aroma is yeast and citrus. Taste is yeast, citrus, banana and spice. Lots of carbonation probably lessens the score slightly. Otherwise very good.
