COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Bottle at hopaholic. Hazy hay yellow colour nice white longlasting head. Nose is similar to dupont saison. Taste is low bitterness, low sourness. Low honey like hops in the aftertaste. Little bit overwhelming with the sweet-sour-bitter taste.

Bottled, 33 cl. Opal golden colour, ,medium sized fizzy white head, which leaves a thin film behind. Fruity, spicy nose. Refined aroma containing honey, citrusses, herbs and bread underpainted gently by alcohol, mouthfeel is crisp. Sweetbitter, fruity-spicy, warming finish...

2015 vintage, stored for six months after purchasing. 75 cl bottle, served in white wine glass. Pours sparkling pale yellowish golden with rocky off-white head, very persistent and abundant. Nice lacing. Aroma is mainly ginger and coriander; along with hints of peppermint, lemon, vanilla and roses. In the mouth it feels very soft, low-carb, full-bodied. Taste is round and well balanced, with good acidity, metal and umami. Long finish which brings a nice hoppy bitterness. Not your average Belgian strong ale, but very nice though.

Pours a hazy golden  yellow from the bottle with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave good lacing. Aroma of big earthy floral hop notes and sweet maltiness with overlying light fruity Belgian esters. Taste follows, clean and complex, really well done. Maybe more of a tripel, really nice.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy bright golden, creamy white head. Bright stone fruit aroma, notes of wild herbs and some roots. The taste follows the aroma, fruity and sweet, being dried up by the warming spicy alcohol. Smooth and dangerously easy drinking body. Very good.

75 cl. champagne-flaske. 9,5 %. Fænomenal øl fra St. Feuillien. Lys med masser af karakter. Tilpas bitterhed. 👍🍺
