Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

33cl bottle at local Belgian bar. Pours cloudy straw yellow. Beautiful bright aroma of fruit and yeast. Wonderfully complex taste with brightness/hippiness that's well balanced. Fruit/citrus notes. Alcohol is not at all overwhelming at 9.5 percent. A very smooth finish. Lovely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fles geprobeerd met LiekevdV op de camping. Het is een licht geel bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige geur en kruidige hoppige smaak. Erg lekker.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2017 Bottle from la supérette a bières. Quite typical Belgian ale with some extra hops. A little weak for a grand cru

Pours hazy golden with a very large frothy white head. Aromas of elderberry, green apples, kiwi, minerals. Taste is very fruity with mineral notes and herbal character. Mouthfeel is light bodied and quite dry and sprightly with moderate carbonation.

Leżakowane data do: 10/2015. butelka 0.75CL Piana drobna obfita, dość szybko opada. Kolor jasny złoty, lekko zmętniony z pływającymi drobinkami drożdży. Aromat słodowy, biszkoptowy, lekko owoce w belgijską nutę i cytrusy, przyprawowy, ostry, drożdżowy, przyjemny średnio intensywny. Alkohol ukryty, goryczka niska. Świetny blonde, dostaje moje belgijskie WOW

Pours a huge amount of foamy head and has a hazy golden appearance. Patchy lacing. Malty nose with hints of grains and yeast. Strong Belgian yeast flavours with lots of spices and some bready malts. Resin and earthy hops as well. A bit of sweetness and not too bitter. Light to medium bodied. Slightly excessive carbonation and average retention. Warming sensation and slightly drying mouthfeel. The alcohol does come through but not offensive. Pretty good!

Wow, cant believe i havent had this one, its one of the classics. Dry and interestingly complex. Lots of herbs, more darker herbs, coriander seed, anise, pepper. Whear grain flavors, finished herbal and complex. killing it!
