COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgiums St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Crus delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Bottle from Bruisin Ales in Asheville. Lovely light, slightly hazy gold pour with a soft white head. Not as much lacing as expected. Nose is honey, soft fruits, gentle hops... overall a subtle aroma. Taste is quite sweet at first, but ends dry.

Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.

Bottle 0,33L. Almost clear, golden color with lively visible carbonation and huge, white, creamy head. Gentle aroma of banana, spices, earthy yeasts, light caramel. Taste starts light/medium sweet and finish medium bitter with fruity and caramel notes. Full bodied beer with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Alcohol is very well hidden.

Bottle at hopaholic. Hazy hay yellow colour nice white longlasting head. Nose is similar to dupont saison. Taste is low bitterness, low sourness. Low honey like hops in the aftertaste. Little bit overwhelming with the sweet-sour-bitter taste.

2015 vintage, stored for six months after purchasing. 75 cl bottle, served in white wine glass. Pours sparkling pale yellowish golden with rocky off-white head, very persistent and abundant. Nice lacing. Aroma is mainly ginger and coriander; along with hints of peppermint, lemon, vanilla and roses. In the mouth it feels very soft, low-carb, full-bodied. Taste is round and well balanced, with good acidity, metal and umami. Long finish which brings a nice hoppy bitterness. Not your average Belgian strong ale, but very nice though.
