COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Something of a cross between a strong White beer and a Saison. Like a White beer, it has a fresh, lively character that is slightly sour, with intense fruit and a rich aroma of citus and coriander seeds. It has the bitterness, subtly aromatic hoppy characterand long, full palate of a Saison. Fine New World hops give a rich, very aromatic nose, a blend of notes that are spicy at first, then fruity. Dry hopping lend delicate green hops aromas. The body is fresh and tangy at first, then slightly bitter, but not excessively so. The use of other cereals gives a rounded complexity to the palate.”

Huge offwhite head. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Fruity soft metal aroma with spicy cardamom notes. Dry-sweet fruity cardamom taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Quite fizzy. Dryish-metallic resiny metallic aftertaste with fruity herbal grassy notes. Nice, drinkable, quite unusual. Has lots of character. (0.75l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

Copenhagen 22/4 2017. 75 cl bottle from Kvickly in Middelfart. Very simple label. The name of the beer and two hops. That’s it. Pours hazy pale yellow with bubbly yet dense white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of spring. Tart, unripe berries, citrus and a little spicy. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet and only slightly more sour and bitter. Kind of surprising when you compare it to the aroma. Lightly sour aftertaste which only stays with you for a short time. Refreshing and solid Saison.
