COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Moebbels (835) - FINLAND - MAR 31, 2014
A very murky dark golden body. The white fluffy head settles down quickly. Nose is mild with notes of yeast, hay and some earthiness. Taste is clean, fairly dry with a mild bitter finish. Carbonation is very high with huge bubbles forming on the palate. Mouthfeel is light but not watery. Very nice and quite refreshing.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2014 I found this beer a bit subdued in taste, I was really expecting more from this Saison. It’s ok, but I would probably choose a different Saison over this one.

2014/03/30 - Pours a hazy orange-honey colour with a thick, foamy white head. Aroma is hay, orange, grass, citrus, yeast and pepper. Taste is sweet malt, citrus, yeast and peppery notes. Mouthfeel is silky with lively carbonation and a crisp, drying finish. Well balanced, but the flavours are a little too subdued for my liking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Piana wytworzyła się ogromna, szkło oblepia i długo pozostaje. Raczej drobna ale szybko przechodzi średnio pęcherzykowej. Kolor pomarańczowy, złoty. Aromaty kwiatowe, cytrusowe, trochę przyprawowe, chmielowe. W smaku łagodne o niskiej goryczce. Wyczuwalne kwiaty i jakby lekka cytryna (bardzo minimalnie kwaśne). Odczycie w ustach bardzo kremowe. Overall: Bardzo łagodne piwo o świetnej teksturze.

Special can 31.5cl abv6.5% pours an off-white thin head, a couple of lacings, almost clear golden body. Fresh scents of malts and hops, grass and yellow apples. Tastes malts, grains, hops, ashy syrup, hints of citrus. Ok body, eager carbonation. Finishes with malts, more to the bread side, a little spicy, good. [email protected],[email protected]

From 750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold with a fluffy white head. Aromas of orange, lemon, pepper, hay and maybe a hint of banana. Taste is richly fruity at the front, with lots of peach and apricot, before a lemon zest bitterness kicks in. Some white bread, apple, vanilla and spice at the end. Substantial mouth feel with touch of creaminess and a pleasant astringency. We’ll rounded and satisfying. Very good.

It pours ochre with pale straw highlights; the head is off-white and heavily effervescent. The aroma has notes: citrus-zest, pepper, yeasty-qualities, bread, and slight barnyard funk. The taste is light sweet that finishes light bitter and astringent; there are notes of: orange-zest, grapefruit-hops, pepper, and a heavy mineral quality. The palate is medium-light bodied, heavily carbonated, and a medium spicy finish. Overall, too light, and not stanky enough.

Boks 11.20 fl oz.fra vinmonopolet gylden klar farge, beskjeden hvit skumtopp, medium karbonert. Smaker korn, gjær, sitrus, appelsinskall, frukt, brød, krydder. En veldig god saison. Litt nedtur med boks, men det for gå for denne gang

330ml bottle. Pours a slightly translucent pale Orange with a frothy, three finger head. Slight carbonation rising. Aroma has big notes of orange citrus, yeast, and slight candy sugar. Taste is on the sweet side but balanced. A touch of citrus tang that moves to some candy sugar and ends with a touch of spice. Really nice. Medium body and carbonation. Smooth texture with a lively amount of carbonation. Slightly dry finish. Overall tasty. A good sweetness balanced by citrus and farmhouse characteristics. Would buy again.

samzim (440) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 26, 2014
Spicy scent of cloves, grass, and cereal. Cloudy apricot colour. Flavour of white wine, bread, dried apple, and nits. Medium body with lively carbonation. It’s subtle, but tasty to sip on.
