St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

Bière orangée avec un haut col de mousse banche et crémeuse. Nez de levure, citron et brioche. Belle équilibre entre la levure et l’e houblon. Une saison bien réussie.

Fragrant leafy nose. Pretty typical saison. Cloudy gold with a creamy white head. I suppose that this is a beer you could drink all night or walk on past.

750ml bottle into a tulip, pours a deep orange/gold with some suspended yeast and a huge 4 finger head. Aroma is the expected saison smells - funky yeast, orange zest, coriander, cloves. Taste is initially a little more astringent than some others (eg, Saison DuPont), but is then balanced nicely by a caramel sweetness before a good dry finish. All the expected yeast, grain and spice flavours are there. Fairly light feel in the mouth but smooth as it goes down. Overall, a pretty good standard saison and one I'll seek out again, given its cheap price at my local Dan Murphy's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

11.2 oz slim can. Thanks, brenn79! Aroma is peppery, dusty, cheesy, doughy. Pours hazy cantaloupe with lots of floaties under a collapsing white head. Taste is sweet, savory, peppery, spices. Medium body, fine carbonation. Excellent Saison.

Nice head, good equilibrium of yeast and hops, candy like taste with a nice dry finish. Will gladly taste it again.

nice gift from cheap!!! Thanks, 11oz can, interesting tasting mild saison. Light aroma, definite sweetness with hints of spice. White head, good lacing and long lasting. It is a good saison for those trying the style for the first time.

11.2 oz slender looking can- Pours a very hazy golden with a one finger white head and floaties, I think I poured a little too much of the can. Aroma is Belgian yeast, very floral, candy sweet. The taste is floral, sweetarts, lemonade, yeasty, sweet and full flavored. Body is medium to almost full actually, carbonation is soft. Overall saisons are the Summer beer of Belgium, this is more intense than I was expecting, not something that I would want to bring to a Summer BBQ and drink one after another, but somehow I feel silly as an American being critical of a Belgian classic farmhouse ale.

Can. Hazy orange-gold with a thick white head. Aroma is yeast and a delightful lemony citrus note. Taste adds a lot of apricot and some light tea notes. Lively palate with strong carbonation. Very solid and the novelty of a saison in a can is pretty cool!

Encore une belle réussite de St. Feuillen. Un bon équilibre. Pointe d'amertume, une bière assez sèche au palais. On y revient volontiers !
