COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

11.2 oz can to snifter. Shocked to see this in a can and at my local sports pub so I had to get it. Glowing apricot color with a minimal white foam head. Aroma is stone fruit, especially ripe, fleshy plum, and Belgian yeast. If my eyes were closed and I had to identify this for a cicerone test, I would call it a Tripel. Taste resembles a Tripel as well but with a hint of barnyard mid palate. The clove qualities of the yeast numb the tongue a bit (or was it the DFH 120 I had just prior at said sports pub?). Imagine a wheaty triple canned and labeled as a saison. That’s this beer. Enjoyable, bit not true to style... And that’s ok.

Rigtig fin ufiltreret, men klar lys øl. God balance mellem bitterhed og sødme.

Lots of flavor, some delicious honey and earthy notes. A little heavier than some other saisons. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very good saison. Pours a very nice murky orange. Very grassy and herbal aromas and flavors. I even get some menthol. Very nice

Orange clair, bière un peu trouble mais encore un rien transparente, au col jaune pâle. On sent et on goûte l’amertume (orange principalement) et la réglisse. L’arrière-goût reste amer avec une fin assez sèche. Assez moyen.

From a 33cl bottle, pours a hazy straw color with a nice big off white head. Aroma of yeast malts and hops. Taste of hops, grass, malts, spices, herbs and a touch of brown sugar. Nice medium body with a nice balance of flavors. Nice smooth hop bitterness and long finish. Very enjoyable and refreshing.
