COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuillien’s Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

11.2oz bottle. Aroma is european skunky with some saison yeast. Appearance is a hazy, dark golden. Taste is a lighter saison flavor with a some european skunk in it. Palate is kinda dank. Overall, a good saison. Would buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bu en bouteille de 33cl, une bière blonde trouble avec une mousse très imposante (les levures certainement) un goût avec juste ce qu’il faut d’amertume très citronnée, agréable tout juste.

This is a very subtle saison. It has a light phenols, a slight sweetness and hints of spice. The head is white and long lasting. It is a great saison for those who don’t appreciate the funkiness or bite that can accompany some of the more well know saisons on the market.

Bottle 0.33l. Pours hazy amber with long lasting white head. Strong carbonation. Aroma is yeasty, spicy, earthy. Aroma is light sweet, medium bitter, fruity notes, medium dry. Creamy mouthfeel with a good bitterness and a sugary aftertaste. A bit less sugar and this would be close to perfect.

Little head, dull, dark golden to beige, little aroma, some citrus, some raspberry or strawberry, slight bitterness, dirt and sand, some salt, melone and petter.

Bottle. Smells amazing, like a cheesecake. Hazy pour, not much head retention or lacing. Lemon character and also a creamy taste. Dances on the tongue but finishes a bit weak. Wish the smell and initial flavours carried through more.

Visual: Poppable cork secured with an aluminum twisty muzzle. Lots of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Pours hazy light marmalade orange with a super lasting ultra foamy head, lots of activity, sticky lacing. Nose: Bright golden malts with a nice hit of honeyed chamomile. (6)-aromatic strength. Attack: incoming rich bitter hoppiness, cream/fizzy mouthfeel Mid-palate: (6)-tangy/zingy, (MAIN) honey, yeasty malts, lemon zest (HINT) coriander, chamomile Finish: (3)-soft/subtle grapefruit bitter hops, mildly dry light citrus malt finish. Summary: An expert balance of booze-tang-body-texture-drinkablity. Very appetizing and recommended. (Note: numbers above are on a 10-point weak-strong scale)

Had this in the tall can. Aroma: Lemon, slight cheesecloth, white grape. Appearance: Hazy gold with a bubbly white head. Flavor: Herbal (rosemary) with lemon and cheesecloth; dries out nicely with a slight floral perfume. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: Quite nice, and awesome that it’s available in a can!
