St-Feuilliens Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

One of the best Saisons Ive tried, St. Feuillien is the real deal, exuding Belgian terroir in ever sip. Nose of mild apple, spicy hops, and pear. Bright juicy fruit flavors with mild spicy yeast phenols. Eminently balanced, both quenching and flavorful. Pours heavily hazy yellow with a small white head.

11.2oz can from Beer52.com. A hazy straw coloured pour with a loose cream head; aroma of yeast and caramel; smooth in the mouth, with a sweet grainy taste; then a light grassy bitterness. A rather plain and ordianry saison.

Pure white creamy head stayed well on a hazy orange coloured, still body. Very fruity aroma with Belgian yeast. Medium body. Sharp, highly carbonated & very tingly on the palate. Clean on the aft. Dry. Yeasty tastes with under ripe, sour fruits. Sweeter on the back with peach & candied sweets.

Bottle @ home.

A bright golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, grassy notes, spices, and floral notes. The flavor is slightly sour and a tad bit sweet with some lemons, yeasty notes, and spices. Crisp and dry finish on this one. Overall a very easy drinking but tasty saison.

Quelle belle symphonie. Quel beau moment.

Bottle, 330 ml. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a large amount of lively, frothy white head, about a finger of which sticks around. Lacing is fairly thick and theres quite a lot of visible carb with medium-sized bubbles. Some light honey on the nose mixed with some soft fruity notes, a bit of sweet orange and red apple, smaller citrus hints. Some light spicy yeast here as well; some allspice and clove. All nice but fairly subdued. Taste is spicier with a fair amount of white pepper and sourdough bread up front, some citrus and sour apple cuts through and some spicy hops at the back. Finish is peppery with a light lingering bitterness in the back of the throat. Medium-light body, oily texture, slightly too sticky but very dry; quite refreshing.

Bottle from Beerhawk. Looks clear orange-gold with a frothy white head. Aromas of sharp, bitter hop, dusty sherbet and musty yeast. Taste is peppery hop, dry yeast with pale, soft malt smoothing things out. Its a light, sharp and dry palate on the tongue with an oily mouthfeel. Im not a fan of Saisons and Im not the biggest fan of this so it must be doing everything right. This is a dry and spicy beer which nevertheless remains refreshing. But its just not my thing. Yet.
