COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St-Feuilliens Saison is what the Belgians call a beer of the terroir, a traditional farmhouse ale with all the rich savour of the fertile land of southern Belgium. Saison, a warm golden blonde beer, is a top-fermented classique. Thanks to secondary fermentation in the bottle, Saison has an unmistakable flavour full of rich nuances and a slight tang.Judge for yourself. 750s and 20L kegs only. In first instance, for export to the USA only.

This beer is awesome! You know how you pop open many new brews hoping they will be delicious and then you are disappointed by its characteristics. Then you finally get to one like this. Wow it is a glorious experience. Really captures the farmhouse essence. A go to siason. Beautiful!

A perfect example of how the style should be. Stand alone grassy, hoppy crisp mouthfeel. Perfect pilsner crisp flavors. This may have revolutionized lawnmowing. Drinking in a can.

Big white head. Cloudy pale amber. Rich aroma and taste. Filling, earthy, velvet palate, smooth, straw. Heavenly. Just perfect.

A glowing orange color. Warm spicy fruit smells. Light citrus spicy yeast finish. Refreshingly smooth even with its spicy farmish flavors.

Draft at the Birch. Golden, shiny and a bit cloudy. The aroma might seem like dish soap to a smart ass, but is wonderfully floral. Wow, this has an enormous palette full of rich tropical fruit flavors. Brilliant beer for a warm summer day. (#4111, 5/21/2011)

Im terribly impressed by this beer... Which I shouldnt be because it was recommended by an astute beer friend. With that said, nose of pure hop lupulin gland, which is strange and awesome. Beer is golden with a distinct chill haze which I like in a saison, more traditional. Flavor is bursting with traditional saison belgian yeast notes and light malt, but it all happens at once. Palate is as expected with a good saison, light to moderate in weight and moderately effervescent. I would buy it again just for the aroma. Sniff and enjoy.

An excellent example of the style. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thick head. Lovely musty nose and delicious in the mouth.

April 10, 2014. 330mL bottle from LCBO. Rich golden yellow, somewhat cloudy. White lacy head. Aromas of lemon, straw, hints of sweetness apparent. Flavours similar to aromas. Lovely saison, very drinkable.
