Emeryville, Ca - BevMo! - 22 oz bomber. Hazy, dark orange pour, pillow-like bone colored head that lasts an extremely long time, Aroma has some nectarine accents, a hint of spruce, and papaya. Succulent flavor, some caramel sweetness, a bit of passion fruit, some grapefruit citrus bitterness. Thick, sticky mouthfeel, Enjoyed this after a day of hiking in Lassen Volcanic National Park with my son. Rating #45 of my Northern California vacation. Dark orange with a billowy white head. Pine and citrus aroma. Malty but not sweet and nicely balanced with hop bitterness. Medium bodied. A bit foamy in the mouth. Long moderately bitter finish. When everyone is trying to go over-the-top with their IPAs it is nice to have one that is favorable and sane. fonefan (52982) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2017

Bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a nice medium sized bright white head on top. Aroma is very light, grassy hints of melons and not much else. Flavour is light bitter, fruity and hints of sweet citrus. Has some notes of malts and sugar in there as well. Probably a bit old, not so impressive. MelvinKalksma (1878) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 12, 2016

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, tropical fruit, pine, hops, citrus and soap.
Turbid/opaque amber/orange beer with a medium/large off-white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, tropical fruit and pine; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops, citrus and soap.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Does not taste really fresh, making it not as fruity as you would want it to be. Otherwise though, there is nothing really bad about it; just a weird malty and yeasty IPA.
Bottle. Pours dark orange with a good, off-white head. Aroma is fruity, slight cardboard, caramel, slight harsh. Taste is rather sweet, caramel, slight conifer, some resin, harsh, quite bitter. Not your most IPA-ish IPA.
