Bottle - pours gold white head - nose and taste of corn, metal, little liquid soap - not offensive though - medium body

Clear golden. Aroma is sweet malt and some banana leaf. Hysterically sweet and sticky.

I bought this bottle at the drink of the world in Geneva. I drank it in Paris, in the hotel room. In my point of view, it is a honest lager, nothing to fall in love with ten women but it makes the job to be refresh and relax. The taste is standard like so many lagers in this planet: malty, bready, some hop and a bit watery, a bit metalic at the final but the taste is relatively standard during all the time. The body is yellow and gold, normal carbonation, thin and white head.

33 cl bottle. 4.7% appearance golden yellow with white disappearing head. Slightly bitter and medium sweet. Average carbonation.

kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 30, 2017
Bottle. Animal kingdom. Pours a clear gold body with a small wispy white head. The nose is all corn and sweet malt, zero hops. The flavor is much the same, very sweet from the corn, with a slightly clingy soggy grain finish. About what you would expect from a pale lager from Ethiopia. Light bodied and a little clingy with fizzy carbonation. New country tick. Had to do it.

Tim Webb (470) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2017
33cl bottle at the Beer Garden Inn, Addis Ababa. Immaculate condition, beautifully presented largely pointless, could-be-from-anywhere little blond job from the style that will tell young aspiring Africans across the continent what to drink. They do not have to list the ingredients so I am guessing 30% adjuncts. Tasting notes: nothing offensive.

Not as bad a some would suggest, but is slightly bitter but otherwise not spectacular.

2.9
tarmok (1434) - Tartu, ESTONIA - OCT 22, 2016

2.7
indrekr (620) - ESTONIA - OCT 22, 2016
Appearance: golden, fast disappearing white foam, clear. Aroma: hay, bread. Taste: light sweetness, lightly bitter. Palate: medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, light bitter, astringent finish.

2.2
AgentAle (1848) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 8, 2016
Aroma is honey, tart, caramel and light straw. Taste is basic light sweet malts , honey and saome sweet grain flavors. Pretty basic overall but crisp and fairly smooth. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.
