Bottle. Pale gold with decent head. Detecting hints of adjunct in the nose. Not much hops, some maltiness. Medium to thin palate. Not outright bad, just very bland. Given choice at Ethiopan restaurant :-) madsberg (11903) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2006

A light orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and corn - and so is the flavor. For what it is, it is not bad. Jeppe (2634) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JUN 7, 2006
Thin snow white head, clear golden body. Almost no aroma, only a vague hint of meat and grain and a bit of fruit. Cirtusy and slightly hoppy flavor again with a strange meaty tone. Dry mouthful. I feel sorry for the Ethiopians! Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAY 6, 2006
Bottle. Golden color with small head. Malty and grainy aroma. Sweetish, malty, grainy flavor with light fruitiness and distant hop flavor. Finishes sweetish and malty. Corn aroma and flavor throughout. Dull for tasting but OK with food. jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - APR 15, 2006
Bottled. Grainy and light skunky hop aroma. Yellow color, white head, fair lace. Light sweet, bit grainy, herbal, raw potatoes, thin. Not too good but a friendly present from the waiter at a Ethiopian restaurant. blank (997) - Austin, Texas, USA - FEB 27, 2006
Bottle Mustly slightly yeast light lager. Has a trace of hops and cloves, but fits in with most of the weak imported lagers. Did go rather well with by Lamb Tibs, so it fits the style of food OK.
