Bottle: Poured a golden with whispery white head. Aroma is grassy. Taste is sweet grass, grain, malt, and metallic hops bitter. NatKadaw (98) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 14, 2014
I’m pretty sure this is bittered with gesho, not hops. It has that signature earthy Woody almost tea - like flavor. A simple, unexciting beer, but a nice twist with a signature local ingredient. Drank in bottle in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. musinj6 (506) - Dedham, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Thanks to my friend dimi for bringing this back to me. Pours a clear pale with one finger head leaving small lacing. Toasted malt. Hint of sweet. Hint of bitter. Light clean herbal hop character . Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Medium finish that is bitter. Pretty decent for the style. pintbypint (3673) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 9, 2014
330ml brown bottle. Pours clear gold, small white cap, even some lace rings. Nose has grain and dough and a bit of sweetness. The beer tastes grainy, a bit of leafy hops. Aftertaste is grassy, very low bitterness. Typical light body and high carbonation. Pretty generic but not offensive or flawed. jmgreenuk (9559) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - DEC 16, 2013
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is dry malt and a little yeast. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a weak watery hop rather medicinal palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. I won’t be spending much time in Ethiopia !

Very thin white head. Clear golden pour. A bland boring lager. JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2013
Bottle- gold colour with sparse white head. Sweetish, mildly hoppy aroma. Watery mouthfeel, just about inoffensive. trapped (3283) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 1, 2013
Bottle. Pale yellow color with white foamy small head, doughy aroma, slightly sweet doughy taste, fizzy with abrupt finish. Very generic. allmyvinyl (10723) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 27, 2013
330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head that soon disappears. Slightly stale aroma, but light malts, hay and lemon are there. Taste’s OK too, nothing special. Pretty standard lager beer. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - SEP 24, 2013
330 mL bottle: Appearance is golden brown with minimal white head. Aroma of stale malt. Taste is similar with a hint of complexity. Drinkable
