Sample at the Inventory Reduction Beer Tasting on 08/08/2015. This beer is a hazy orange-gold color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and subtle hops. Medium to full body with a sweet malty character and notes of caramel and earthy hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a grainy malt aftertaste. Better than expected actually, an above average beer. Peregrinari (148) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 5, 2014
Not bad but not a redrink either. Aroma is boozy. Appearance is nice slightly cloudy amber with weak yet sticky head. Flavor is sweet with wood, cheap wood like pine or even particle board. Finish is fairly sweet and mildly bitter. Overall a meh. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - APR 5, 2014
22oz bottle. Lightly hazed dark amber body topped by small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some bread, light cherry, wet cardboard. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, lager yeast, some bread, light alcohol. Medium-full body, some stickiness. Shanebrews (293) - Virginia, USA - AUG 17, 2013
This beer is all malt. It is full flavored and filling with just enough bitterness to knock down the sweetness. The pour is pretty with ample head and the aroma is enticing. RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - OCT 21, 2012
Bomber. Pours deep gold with a fluffy white head that fades to splotches and leaves medium lacing. Aroma is very grainy. Definitely a raw cereal malt smell with a hint of raisins and apple. Taste is the same. Taste like cinnamon apple cheerios almost, with a nice hit of boozy warmth. Mellows out on the tongue after a bit. Could use a bit more sweetness.

Bomber pours a hazy golden amber with fair offwhite head. Sweet raisin and plum nose carries over in the flavor. Some graininess and mild alcohol flavors as well. Very malty, caramel, sweet. Decent sipper, but wouldn’t really want it again. IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - AUG 14, 2012
Bomber from TheEpeeist. Nose is floral, candisugar, and hints of bubblegum and golden raisins. Hazy copper orange with a medium light beige head. Flavor is light sweetness, caramel, a hint of fruit with some banana, and a bit of background bitterness. Actually pretty decent. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Bottle from the brewery. Nice, sweet malt aroma with just a hint of booziness. Pleasant, sweet, caramel flavor that is true-to-form for a maibock. The 9 ABV is very well hidden. Pretty tasty for a style that sometimes gets a little raw in the booziness. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Draft at Green Leafe Newtown. Poured deep coppery with off-white head. Nose was earthy caramel malt, fruit, brown sugar, and buttery. Tasted caramel malty, tart and hoppy, acidic, with some definite butterscotch flavors. Drake (13726) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Bomber from Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of big toasted malts with some raisin and a bit of booze. The taste is extremely similar with a bit of vanilla and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, some booze is evident, low carbonation. Nice beer.
