COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

(St. Georgen Bräu Keller Bier) Swing top bottle, 500 ml at In De Wildeman, Amterdam. Light amber colour on the body, clear, with a tall and thick head on top, with great retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass. Aroma of dried grass, vegetables, faint caramel and a light sour touch. Taste follows the aroma, dried grass, grains, faint caramel, more obvious on the finsish, old hops, vegetables, light straw, a sour touch too. Bitterness that builds up. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Okay beer, after a while seems like a chore to finish the whole bottle.

RIch and minerally, though not as hoppy as expected. Very drinkable and some bready, earthiness gives it some character.

Aus der Flasche getrunken. Helles kastanienbraun im Glas. Stabiler weißer Schaum. Geschmacklick enttäuschend, nur eine indiffrente Bitterkeit (Frankenland untypisch) herrscht vor.

0,5l Flasche. Schönes kastanienfarbenes Bier, leicht trüb. Cremiger Schaum. Ungespundetes Bier, ich mag die geringe Kohlensäure. Hefe und Malzduft. Überraschen malzig-bitterer Antrunk. Röstmalz, Holz, Brot. Wenig Süsse. Erst ganz im Finish etwas Karamel. Der Geschmack überzeugt!
