COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

Earthy cut-grass aroma. Small head typical of Kellar Bier. Nice lingering bitterness without being overdone.

Bernsteinfarben mit schönem Schaum. "Duft" etwas eierlastig nach Malz. Geschmack kräftig, würzige Bitterkeit, dunkler Brotgeschmack. Angenehm trinkbar.

anstei (2747) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - NOV 13, 2017
Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours unclear amber. Aroma is grassy hops over yeast residues and little toasted malts, even smoke. Body is rather light, softly sweet and bitter with little caramel flavours. Really feels more like an amber lager than a ZKL, but not the worst one.

03-10-17 // Bier Tasting im Bayern-Zelt @ Tag der deutschen Einheit 2017 in Mainz. Unfiltered golden with a white head. Very smooth drinking, good bread and hay character.

3.2
Derbeth (1127) - Kraków, POLAND - OCT 22, 2017
Bottle, named St. GeorgenBräu Buttenheimer Kellerbier, expiry date 30.08.18. Dark golden colour, rocky head that does not stay long. Aroma is lots of hemp. Light bitterness. Unusual for a kellerbier. Good.

Nickls (2617) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 21, 2017
Tap. Rocky offehite head, amber hazy body. Sweet reaisin, dark malt, hay, earthy leaves in the aroma. Flavor leans more dark fruit than I like, hay, grass and sweet biscuits. Medium body.

midovark (1138) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 24, 2017
0.5 l bottle, a gift from Germany, shared with my dad. Pours hazy orangeish with thin head. Nice bittersweet lager with a malty, biscuit-like base that is very much to my liking. It reminds me of an ESB, good one.

3.4
Icedwarf (1886) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - SEP 24, 2017
oranjekleurig bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zuur met iets van, ja wat eigenlijk? Gewoon best goed drinkbaar en smaakvol bier met een heel aparte smaak die ik niet kan definiëren.
