COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults. Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

Bottled. Dark amber color with pretty low head. Grass and sulphur dominates the aroma, richly so. Light bodied and grainy, and nicely bready with cookie malt along with grass. A tiny accompanying acidity is there along with sulphur, great deal of earthiness and this green, fresh overall thing only felt in kellerbier. Palate is pretty soft with low carbonation but still little edgy due to the acidity and the feeling of fresh hops. Not very bitter at first, but eventually it lingers nicely.

0.5 l bottle. Clear copper-amber colour. Thin, low-lasting, off-white foam. Light malty, smoky, roasty aroma. Malty flavour and medium bitterness. Medium carbonation, very low body which makes the 4.9% Abv seem higher. I hoped in something better.

Light brown with small white head. Aroma and taste is malt, caramel, earth and some bread (at least in the taste). Some herbs in the aftertaste. Solid dominating malty backbone in this. I like it!

From old tasting notes. Amber orange color. Bubbly beige head. Soft sweet malt nose. Dry malty flavor is lightly carbonated, yet very drinkable. Long dry hop finish. Nice clinging lace.
