Bottle conditioned.
On the basis of ancestral recipes, this relatively light blonde, remains faithful to the principles of the monks who populated the old abbey of Belgian. It refreshes intelligently, and will charm the thirst in hot weather.

Ruikt fris ,vanille. Smaak: licht moutig, redelijk bitter, wat weinig body.

Gold pour. Thick Creamy head. Medium carbonation, lots of floaters. Aroma is mild yeasty. Mild hop taste. Aftertaste of pink sweets.

Dobre ale nie rewelacyjne. Wyglad pomaranczowy piwa z wielka czapa trwalej piany. Mocne sykniecie spod kapsla podczas otwierania, zwiastuje wysokie nagazowanie.

thanatosti (1844) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - MAY 5, 2013
On tap @ Chalet des Bains, Koksijde. Golden with a white head. Sweet yeasty aroma. Low bitterness but by all means a nice decent blonde.

JoeinDahlem (1604) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 14, 2013
There are a lot of soft, gentle blond ales in Belgium; this one manages "above-average" by ducking excessive sweetness and spicing. Sparkling gold, moderately bitter even, and a bit bready. Winds up off-dry. The word "honest" pops into my head. All things considered I would rather drink this than most other Huyghe beers, including that one with the pink elephant.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 4, 2013
Draught @ Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Rated on 1.3.2013.
Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of clove, grass and some apricot. Flavour of sweet malts, peach, apricot, clove and mild bitterness. Medium bodied, high carbonation and a sweet, mild spicy finish. Easy-going and easy to forget.
