Rich golden colour, fruity aroma and a soft, sweet maltiness. Lively mouthfeel with a finish reminiscent of brut champagne. Brewed under license of the Duinen Monastery by the family owned Huyghe-Melle Brewery.

A slightly cloudy golden. Lovely creamy head and lace. Nose is full of fruit and grainy malt. Out of this world aroma! My good lord this is fantatic.Big malt profile with essences of fruits and spices and citric qualities. Sooo soft, smooth and intricate. Very lush and livley mouthfeel, the beer actually dances in your mouth. Disgustingly drinkable for such a strong beer. Flawless and the best tripel (will have to drink gmonkey again) I have had to this point. I love this. Only if I can find it cheap like some of you guys. ($5 a bottle)

Wow, this is truly an extraordinary beer. The complexity is simply amazing. Plenty of malt hints in the aroma and a very sweet taste. The alcohol is beautifully hidden. World class by any means.

A very spicy/yeasty trippel. very carbonated. A nice surprise from a beer I had never heard of.

An exceptional tripel...somewhat spicy with fruit/citrus notes in the malt, a little bit of a lingering aftertaste, but still impressive overall.

This is one great Tripel! $12 bucks a case?? I paid $5 bucks for 330ml bottle. Well balanced and surprisingly light for the heavy alc content. Nice spice increadibly drinkable.

Remarkable clarity, big bubbles without much legginess, some spice. OOooh man, very nice long smooth flavor-to-palate. Sweet without much sugar, plenty of hoppy aroma left at the end. Plenty of kick. Definitely worth the $12 I paid for a CASE of these ($14 a CASE!! for the dubbel!) at a local little known Belgian discount merchant.
