2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a nice red-orange with a small white head. The aroma is faint floral and citrus notes. The taste is light hops with some caramel and bread. Nothing special but not terrible.
After a series of pale lagers consumed on a Caribbean cruise I got to finish with an IPA, thank goodness. Purchased at a small restaurant in St Croix I drank it from the bottle while looking out over the turquoise waters. I was pleased with the initial hoppiness after all the previous blandness I have experienced. Basic citrus taste and a good following bitterness, I was happy to be delivered some flavor. Not out of the ordinary but quite nice. teddybeer (4467) - Madrid, SPAIN - FEB 19, 2018

Dark coppery color, off-white head, creamy with good retention and some lacing. Aroma has light notes of resins, light toasty and some caramel. Flavor with a moderate bitterness, light caramel. Light bitterness in the final, weak maltiness.
Average IPA. Good balanced bitterness with a caramel undertone. Light copper color and light bodied. Camons (13718) - Hasselager, DENMARK - JUN 25, 2017

Bottle at the Beer Garden in St Thomas. The surroundings are better than the beer. Really more of a moderately hopped amber than an IPA. Not bad just not a great IPA.

Drunk directly from 12 oz. brown bottle. Stamped Best by 03/01/18 (!)
S: Very light herbal/floral hop scent. Faint brown bread.
T: Bitter piney/floral hops. Little malt flavor but slight woodiness.
M: Resinous mouthfeel and finish with medium body and brisk carbonation.
O: Not bad nor noteworthy however for Caribbean stuff this is somewhat exceptional. I think the Pale Tourist is more flavorful even at 5.2%. Jrwhitney6 (526) - - JAN 5, 2017
Had at Marriott Frenchman's Reef. Pours a little darker than typical IPA. Couldn't get much of a nose. Lacks the citrus up front, and goes straight to a hoppy/bitter IPA finish. It's ok, but great compared to most of the beer available to drink in the Caribbean!

Hazy brassy golden, no head. Oddly nutty caramel nose. Initial taste is dry, sweet spice. Carbonation is firm and finishes quite sticky sweet. cgarvieuk (26868) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 29, 2016
