Fred82 (2339) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2010
33cl bottle via IPB
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with big fluffy head. Extensive lacing.
Aroma : Spicy yeast. Hints of estery banana. A bit dusty. No evident traces of hops on the nose.
Taste : Yeasty. some spices. A bit metallic but it fades away after some time. Dusty. It also developed hints of orange by the end.
Overall : A dusty, spicy and yeasty belgian. No real traces of hops nor real bitterness. Very straightforward and simple but not very good. Now I remember why I stay away from this kind of brew. It’s just not worth with so much good beer in the cellar.

Skinnyviking (9720) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2010
Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing fluffy whte head. Clear yellow body. Pretty weak and almost non-existant fruity aroma. Mild frlytty aroma with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short sweet aftertaste.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2010 A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Kook Fest tasting.
Slightly hazy gold with a thin off white head. Lots of artificially sweet kiddies candy along with lots of spice and a tart finish. Pretty poor to be honest.

holdan (260) - USA - JAN 16, 2010
Light golden with small white head. Aroma is soft yeast. Taste is from yeast with a heavy metallic and to much alcohol impact. Finish with a bitter tone.

2.7
Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JAN 13, 2010
0.75 l bottle from Systembolaget. Golden color. Sweet aroma with tart fruitiness, vanilla and gooseberry. Sweet, fruity, honeyish, berryish and grainy flavor with toffee, vanilla, gooseberries and tart alcohol. There is too much tart alcohol for otherwise fairly light flavored beer.
