ChrisOs Kook Tasting. Hazy gold beer. White head. Light sweet malt and fruit nose. Soft palate, a little dry. Soft creamy malt - tripel like. Light fruity undertone. Finishes soft and dry with a whisper of spice.
Blond color; nice perlage but the foam is suspicious (eggwhite; maybe there has been something added to enhance it). The aroma actually has the faintest flowery and grassy hop in it. It has a reasonable body strength, light malt flavor, with some sweetness; the mouthfeel is quite smooth; there is a delicate hoppy touch in the end, correct bitterness and light alcohol warmth. The final is balanced but short. Overall, a delicate and pleasant brew.
It won the Bronze Medal at Concours Général Agricole 2009, with some merit in the French beer panorama, maybe an easy beer when analyzed from a worldwide perspective.
