This was a little bit more in the range of a lambic than a fruit beer. Strong flavors of really fruit as opposed to being artifical and overly sweet. A bit tart at first with some heavy acidity, and a bit of sour, aroma defying fruit. Super easy to drink, and fulfilling on the palate. Decent.

This is not my kind of beer but i have rated it as a Framboise and if i do that, it is very nice. Color red with a good pink head, and the fruit is strong.

On tap at the Maproom. Poured a clear, deep sparking ruby with a solid layer of pinky/beige head. Nose was of raspberry Kool-Aid... very sweet with tart underlying lambic funk. Flavor was very similar... fruit punch, sweet raspberries, and faint musty tartness... the sweetness had an artificial tinge to it. Too sweet for my tastes... couldve used more funk.

Very sweet raspberry aroma. Deep red colour, small pink head. The flavour is quite sweet with a hint of acidity. OK frambozen, but with a hint of aspartam in aftertaste.

On draft at PIB. Its pretty to look at, awesome red pink hue. Smells like raspberries that have been left in sugar overnight to be placed on the tops of crepes. Drinks like a sweet mixed drink, but a REALLY good one. Some might think its just a sweet lambic, but it does have more going for it than just a sweet outside. Plus its darn tasty on a hot summer day, but I think it would also go quite well on a cool winter night. (Possibly in front of a fire....)

A deep red beer with a pink head. The aroma is sweet with notes of almonds and raspberries. The flavor is sweet with a slight acidic touch, and lots of raspberries. Too sweet for me to really enjoy it.

Bottle. Strong sweet raspberry aroma with light musty barnyard as well. Dark cherry red color with small head. Strong sweet-tart raspberry flavor - mild lambic mustiness. A sweet lambic - not traditional - very similar to Lindemans.

Bottle- Thanks to the Staff @ The Nomad for sharing this one. Dark red color, small white head. Aroma is raspberries and cream eaten while sitting ontop of a smelly horse. Flavor is mostly sweet raspberry juice, smooth boddy slightly bretty finish. Like Raspberry cool-aid.

Poured a deep burgundy color with a thin head that provided very nice lacing. Aroma was of rubber and raspberries, as was the flavor. This was very comparable in my opinion to the NG Raspberry Tart. But, why such a differential between this and that? Perhaps because this claims to be a lambic and not a fruit beer (it was a phony sweetened lambic for sure and way overpriced for that matter). Yes, it didnt taste like beer, but neither did the Raspberry Tart on both of my tastings of it.

Raspberries, and Im not relating to Thoroughly Modern Millie. In the aroma, in the flavor, and the early finish seems the same as eating fresh raspberries, perhaps even a hint of seed. The sweet is nearly balanced by the tart. The new label is a bit sad, lacks the character of the old. Final finish hints of a sour lambic characeristic.
