Geiserich (4496) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUN 2, 2005
Intensive sweet, fruity raspberry. aroma and taste like a rasperry sirup. Small pink head, intensive dark ruby color. Very sweet taste, fruity and sugary, rasperry flavor with a only light touch of sourness. Much to oversweeted.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2006 (Bottle 25 cl) While sweetened, commercialized gueuzes can often be a pleasant experience. That is much more rarely the case with the sweetened, commercial gueuze-based fruit-beers. Nice pale red colour, very sweet, very fruity and fresh to some extent. Nice aperitif before it sickens you. 040993

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2004
A very fruity nose and deep red colour. Middle of the road beer, sweet and fruity yet with some sourish hints also. (Bottle at Queen’s Arms, Manchester)

jgb9348 (6194) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 3, 2004
Bright red, slightly hazy body with a frothy pink head. Super strong/sweet raspberry aroma with some sugars and malt noticeable. Super-sweet raspberry taste, a little sour, but overwhelmed with sweetness. Aftertaste still sweet and somewhat tart. An unbalanced lambic, more sweet than sour, but still a great beer! I had this beer on draught at Chez Antoinette in Washington, D.C. on 05-March-2004.

3.3
Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - FEB 15, 2004
Draft at Cap Ale house, they always drive me nuts by calling the stuff Kasteel instead of St. Luis. In any case, aroma of sweet raspberries. Flavors match, just a hint of sourness at the end. Not complex, but a nice little desert beer, went well with chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream.

3.4
Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2003
Nice raspberry aroma. Fruity and light. Strawberry jam red clear with light pink lacing head. Medium watery body and carb. Good raspberry taste and mild after.

1.8
rauchbier (3880) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2003
Bottled. Cherry red, moderate purple tinged head, moderate condition. Subtle fresh raspberry aroma but way too sweet and artificial in the mouth. Quite soft and short finish but not short enough

diabel (1705) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - JAN 14, 2003
This defenitely must be a soda instead of a beer.

1.6
joet (2604) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - NOV 9, 2002
Thin bodied and flat flavors after an aromatic explosion that’s without depth or complexity. Cheap perfume on a Mouseketeer.
