500ml bottle from Sonoma Cellars in Oconomowoc, shared with bananabi11. Sour. Tangy. A nice oakiness. Somewhat carbonated. Has that light spritzer from the gueuze line. Tasty, just quite sour. 13.8

37,5 cl bottle from Beervana. Pours a clear golden color with orange-ish hues and a medium white frothy head that shows good retention and laces pretty well. Aroma is quite strong. Heavy barnyard/funky aromas dominate with some fruity touches. Notes of funk, horse blanket, white grapes, muscatel, sparkling wine, lemon and lime. Strong. Taste is quite sour with mild fruity flavors. Not as intense as the aroma, it is however, well refined. Fresh grapey and grapefruity flavors mixed up with sour milk and tart funkiness. Interesting. Light bodied, dry, refreshing, spritzy and champagnoise. Akin to a good white wine or a sparkling wine. My first approach to somewhat "true" Gueuze.

On tap at The Farmhouse Tap and Grill in Burlington, VT. This was poured into a flared tulip. The appearance was a nice looking bronzed orange to copper color. Bar pours kind of slim white head that dissipated at a nice pace. Filmy lacing. The smell started off with some sweet citrus, light grassy, some lemon, then some lemongrass. Bitter and sour lemon rind, orange rind. The taste follows the aroma nicely. Puckering sour lemon blends with some tart cherries. Light sweet citrus rind ever so slightly - dig deep down, its there. Puckering sour citrus rind in the aftertaste. Sour lemon/bitter orange finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sipping to sessionable quality about it. Carbonation runs fairly light. Sourness does hit on my tongue appropriately. Overall, to me, I really liked this one but havent had too many guezues in my life, rated to style - not so much, but I did like it enough for me.

Orange hazy color, with a small white head. Aroma is lactic, citrus/lemon, leather. Taste is lemon-sour, but sweeter than other gueuze. Very refreshing, tarte and dry aftertaste. Really a good gueuze.

Decent head and foggy gold body. Good sweet aroma of funk and hay, sharp yeast notes. Flavour is soft yeast sharpness and a dry finish. While a fine gueuze there are better ones out there, though this works well as a sessionable one if you can find a few dozen outside-a Belgium to actually do a session with.

Butelka. Kolor prawie krystalicznie pomarańczowy, ładna biała piana. Aromat mało intensywny, ale czuć że to gueuze. Trochę funku i agrestu, nutka cytryny. To w zasadzie wszystko. Smak kwaśny, lekki do średniej, bardzo wytrawny i lekko cierpki. W smaku witamina C. Nawet posmak ma jak witamina C. Ciało niskie, faktura wodnista. Niby niesłodzony lambik, ale jednak slaby.
