Had it on tap at Redlight Redlight. Taste is a mix of tart and sweet; very delicious and refreshing.

Slightly hazy dark gold pour with a small short-lived cap. Nose is green apple skin, green grapes, lemon, wild yeast funk, something sweet that smells like icing sugar and honey, wood and light tobacco notes. Taste is very sour but the malt sweetness is just enough to compensate. If I had tried more Lambics I might be less impressed with this stuff, but it strikes me as damn tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a mostly clear darker amber golden color with off-white fizzy head that dissipates very quickly. Funk, light tartness, light fruit, and some oak on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with an earthy light tartness.

Note boisée en milieu de bouche . Note légère de foudre et un peu de sucrosite. Un bonne gueuze.

Zo apart en toch zo bekend na al die jaren. Lekker, klassiek zuur bier voor een warme avond.

Cannery Row Beer Club didn't like this as much as the flavored Lambics. Cheers! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A- Soapy, chlorine, pool water, subtle tartness, mild apple. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Subtle apple, champagne, mild funk, effervescent, vinegar, slightly moldy. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly funky finish. O- A fair amount of apple and champagne like qualities. Lots of chlorine and pool water on the nose. Not much funk to it. Decent enough and probably a good gueuze for beginners.

VDuquerroux (1639) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - APR 20, 2017
Bottle, 37.5cL. Home. A sparkling orange beer with a medium white head ; medium retention. Wood, lemon, yoghurt, light herb and apple. Medium dry sour refreshing, light sweet and bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, avearge carbonation, medium lasting dry acid finish. Overall, correct, even pleasant.

Thanks Trolleo! Misty darker amber-golden body, small white head. Aroma... Chlorophenols. Sorry. Some vague fruity notes. But yeah. Chlorophenols. No, not a normal note for a lambic. Sour taste, mild, nice, with chlorophenols. Salty. Great mouthfeel, adequate carbonation, but the taste is a full chlorophenol blast. This almost works but is extremely flawed. Sorry but no.

37,5cl Bottle @ LaBIRRAtorium, Madrid, Spain. Amber colour with thin white head. Aroma is sour, apples, sweet, citrus. Taste is sour, red fruits. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Now 5% apparently. Light brown colour with no head. Aroma is quite fruity. Flavour has some sour berry tartness and a hint of vinegar. Some raisin too. Fairly dry.
